The Victorian Water Treatment Facility in Melbourne guarantees clean, safe, and reliable water for the city and the region — now and in the future, thanks to the expansion with an additional UV disinfection plant. AVK Industrial supplied fifteen DN1200 stainless steel Repico® pipe couplings and butterfly valves for this project.

AVK Industrial Nederland has successfully supplied several knife gate valves and couplings for a sewage application in a new chemical installation in Rotterdam Europoort. 

Repico® couplings protect the weak welds of a supply pipeline of an industrial plant, a reliable temporay solution. In good cooperation with the customer, we developed a tailor-made repair coupling for the pipe elbows. 

Steel producer ArcelorMittal Gent discovered a crack in one of their high-pressure pipes of the blast furnaces. An AVK stainless steel repair clamp was mounted at a height of 60 meters and solved the problem.

A new fire fighting system with AVK butterfly valves has been installed to guarantee safety since extra train tracks have been constructed in an extra railway tunnel. 

AVK repair clamps fixed a leakage in a pipeline of a regional hospital in Czechia. Thanks to the stock of AVK Vod-ka and the prompt action of the local contractor, the leakage could be repaired quickly. 

At the wastewater treatment plant in Deventer, contractor Pannekoek recently installed several Repico® couplings to their full satisfaction. 

Recently, we have been able to contribute to a solution for venting pipes in which oil is transported. For this situation we have opted for a plastic air vent with a specially designed float. The challenge here was in the specific mass of the product. 

A Brazilian company in the agribusiness faced a leakage in a carbon steel pipe due to oxidation of the pipe material. AVK Válvulas do Brasil suggested a Repico® stainless steel repair coupling for a reliable and sustainable solution.

A large Oil & Gas production company faced an operational problem. They identified a weak spot in a steel pipe. They had to stop their production process on one of their FPSO’s (Floating Production Storage and Offloading). AVK could support in providing a solution for covering the “weak” spot with a high quality Repico® repair clamp!

On a tug they had an urgent demand for couplings with a Bureau Veritas approval for the steel suction pipelines. AVK produced the Repico® DN350 Grip couplings within 2 days. 

17 Repico® SD Slip type couplings with two locks are installed in a flowmeter test facility in a watertreatmentplant in Madrid. 

At Zoo am Meer in Germany, leaks occurred in the piping of the water treatment plant. Repico® repair couplings ensured a durable but easy repair. 

The ferry company replaces all couplings by the Repico® Slip couplings. The Repico® Slip coupling is completely made of high quality stainless steel AISI316 material including a FKM liner.

AVK Industrial Nederland developed special valves for molten salt under a high temperature

In Romania a connection to a new raw water line has been equipped with a flanged outlet repair clamp  (FST) produced by AVK Rewag. A solution that is now recommended for similar projects.  

AVK recently delivered special, resilient seated, DN 900 and DN 1000 valves to a large industrial customer.

Because of AVK’s fast service the plant could continue with minimal disruption. 

Recently we received a nice order for 57 big Repico® repair couplings, varying in sizes DN1200, DN900 and DN600. These Repico® couplings will be supplied via our distributor AC.MO from Dubai to a big water company in the Middle East.
