ProRail, the company responsible for the infrastructure of the Dutch railway network, has put great efforts in the construction and maintenance of its firefighting systems in several industrial areas in the port of Rotterdam.

The Victorian Water Treatment Facility in Melbourne guarantees clean, safe, and reliable water for the city and the region — now and in the future, thanks to the expansion with an additional UV disinfection plant. AVK Industrial supplied fifteen DN1200 stainless steel Repico® pipe couplings and butterfly valves for this project.

AVK Industrial Nederland has successfully supplied several knife gate valves and couplings for a sewage application in a new chemical installation in Rotterdam Europoort. 

Repico® couplings protect the weak welds of a supply pipeline of an industrial plant, a reliable temporay solution. In good cooperation with the customer, we developed a tailor-made repair coupling for the pipe elbows. 

Steel producer ArcelorMittal Gent discovered a crack in one of their high-pressure pipes of the blast furnaces. An AVK stainless steel repair clamp was mounted at a height of 60 meters and solved the problem.

A new fire fighting system with AVK butterfly valves has been installed to guarantee safety since extra train tracks have been constructed in an extra railway tunnel. 

AVK repair clamps fixed a leakage in a pipeline of a regional hospital in Czechia. Thanks to the stock of AVK Vod-ka and the prompt action of the local contractor, the leakage could be repaired quickly. 

At the wastewater treatment plant in Deventer, contractor Pannekoek recently installed several Repico® couplings to their full satisfaction. 

Recently, we have been able to contribute to a solution for venting pipes in which oil is transported. For this situation we have opted for a plastic air vent with a specially designed float. The challenge here was in the specific mass of the product.
