Motive steam cooler TECsteam
The patented TECsteam motive steam cooler is usually used for cooling of steam close to the saturated steam temperature or for cooling of hot gases. The temperature is controlled by the injection of water into the steam or hot gas stream whereby the water is mechanically atomized into microsopic fine droplets using high pressure steam (motive steam). The motive steam is usually extracted from a higher pressure stage of the boiler system. The cooling water is supplied via a separate control valve. Extremely short evaporation sections of less than 3m can be realized with this valve.
