Tapping saddle with integrated hole cutter (SWIC) for underpressure drilling in hard material pipes like steel, ductile iron, grey iron or asbestos cement; not for PE or PVC pipes. For water to max. 70° C

The AVK tapping saddle series 727 are designed to be fitted on already existing and commissioned main water supply pipes where they can be used to attach a new supply line without interrupting the supply. The built-in hole drilling equipment cuts through asbestos cement and all kinds of metal pipe walls and makes for a quick and seamless installation. After the hole has been cut the tapping saddle functions as an ordinary service connection valve.
